Move past him down a small alley to the back of the estate, where you'll find a small shack with a large chest (it's actually a Mujina trap), and outside the shack on the right is a Kodama. Once you enter the large estate area past the second giant spider, try to keep to the left side as you move through the rooms, until you find a Giant Skeleton that appears in a small outdoor garden. When you reach the entrance to a large cave, look for a small shack above it filled with spider eggs, and check behind the crates to the left of the shack to find the Kodama. Carefully drop to the thin lower roof to find a Kodama on the edge.įrom the gate to the large estate blocked by the second giant spider, take the path going left (the opposite side from the shorcut leading back to the Altar) to find a path leading along the cliffs. Just after clearing the egg-infested building below the path to the main castle gate, there's a ledge you can drop down to the roof of a lower building. In the back of the shrine is where you can find the Kodama hiding. Pass it to get to the other side where one of the bonfires you can light is in a large shrine room. From the gate to the boss, turn around and run to the opposite wall where a Nurikabe yokai wall is. The fifth Kodama is also located by the central area where the boss gate is. Instead of going right to drop down where a Shrine is, go left until you spot a ladder going down to a narrow ledge where the Kodama is hiding. Look for the collapsed area forming a large bridge onto the roof of the place, and take it up going towards an area where you can cross to the other side of the roof. The fourth Kodama is located by going to the central area near the boss gate as well. The Kodama is hiding in front of the upturned boat. Turn around from the boss gate and look for a room with a broken boat on the right side. The third Kodama can be found upon reaching the central area leading to the boss gate. To the right of the house is a small awning with a cart, and behind the cart lies the Kodama. The first Kodama can be found on the first house on the left going up the hill from the water.

You can find Kodama in the following missions located in the areas noted below: Kodama can be found in Sub Missions, though they do lend their power to Shrines that are active - but in Twilight Missions the rules change slightly, as you'll have access to all Kodamas you've found in the game, but many more are needed to have access to blessings and increased elixirs. Note that if you miss any Kodama, you can replay a level to search for those you left behind. The more you find, the better off you'll be, especially when gearing up for a boss fight. In addition, for every 5 Kodama you find in a region, you'll be granted an additional Elixir that replenishes each time you visit a Shrine.
